General Motors has announced that it will offer an optional radio in 2009 models that will allow you to play music straight from your Ipod or MP3 player. It plugs into a USB port through the vehicle's radio.
Although other motor companies like Ford have offered this luxury for a year now, this is the first time it has been brought to my attention. I think it is an excellent idea because it is more convenient and less of a hassle. This device allows you to browse through the music library and charge the MP3 player while it is plugged in whereas others make you unplug it in order to browse. Not only can Ipods be used at home, commuting, and at the gym, but they can also be used easily in cars now!
